BF3 Battlelog just hit 50 000 downloads!

First thing’s first – the app I created a little more than a month ago just hit 50 000 downloads. Wow! 50 000 is like… the population in Luleå, Sweden (the city I’ve lived in most of my life), or a really good computer. Thank you very much for your support!

To celebrate this  moment, I’d like to show you some awesome statistics regarding the app:

  • 63% of you users out there are running Android 2.3.3 on their devices (awesome!)
  • 14% of you users out there are using the Samsung Galaxy S2

It always makes a developer warm in his/her heart to see that people got updated and (hopefully) high-performing devices – hopefully we’ll be seeing a bunch of Ice Cream Sandwich-users emerge in a near future.

Also, I’d like to share the top 5 languages that you people out there tend to use on your devices:

  • English (both American and Brittish) – 43.4%
  • German – 15.8%
  • Swedish – 5.7%
  • Dutch – 4.8%
  • French – 4.6%

With that said, you’re probably wondering what’s going to happen with BF3 Battlelog in the future. To be honest – I don’t quite know about the far-fetched future, but one thing I know is that there will be an update out in a near future. I won’t give an ETA as school is pretty hectic at the moment, but I can almost promise you that it’ll be worth the wait.

Until next time ‘folks!

Ps. Here’s a link to the download page on Android Market – enjoy!

Wonderful app. Seriously. You are scratching a very itchy itch for me. Because of the web filters at work I can’t view battlelog (understandably) until I get home. It’s great to be be able to communicate with by bro’s during the day. Keep up the great work!

Oh, how’s ICS working out? I’m waiting for “KMobs” to release a CyanogenMod for HTC Sensation, at it seems to be somewhat on its way!

Yes, if you feel like helping out – I’d be glad! Check out the following page and just fill in the fields (with your translations ofcourse), hit the button at the bottom and get the downloaded xml-file to me in some way.

      Thanks! :-)
