BF3 Battlelog (unofficial) may be flying through some (new) turbulence

Hello world!

Just thought I’d put this message out here – BF3 Battlelog (unofficial) might’ve hit another rough patch, but I have yet to confirm it. Battlelog has been updated as of earlier today (right around their E3-presentation), so I’m not sure of what’s been changed “under the hood” so to speak. Worst-case scenario is that every single user that still has the app installed from Google Play (we’re talking a few ten thousand) won’t be able to use it. Best-case? Well, let’s just hope this is just a bump in the road.

I’ll let you guys know what the situation is as soon as I know it, hopefully as early as tomorrow (Sweden time) – I won’t however make any promises or give out an exact ETA, as time is a virtue right now… meaning that I just won’t be hitting that green button in Snooze Jar after all.

    I cannot log in the app to see my stats.
    It says login failure.

          A lot of things. We’re working as hard as we can to get the back up onto Google Play as it’s now unusable for everyone that’s not on the beta. :(

    Same here. Shame really as this was far and away the best way of accessing battlelog via mobile device. Time DICE/EA got their act together and produced an app for Android. If they can do it for Apple devices, why not Android?

      Yeah, I’m not quite sure what’s keeping them. If I could have the most basic version out a day after the release, how come they couldn’t? They’re bound to know more about Battlelog than I did when I started. :-)

      They changed a few things under the hood, so we’re working on getting it fully functional again. :-)

        :D please keep us posted. are you working on the aesthetic parts of the app as well like Battlelog or just under the hood stuff?

          That depends – if you’ve tried the latest beta, there won’t be much change in the aesthetic parts. However, if you haven’t tried the beta for v2 then you’re in for a treat when I put out a new beta version of it. :-)
